You’ve heard the expression it’s five o’clock somewhere, right? Well some morning last week as I was walking past the boys’ playroom/guestroom/room where I stash all my school stuff behind closed doors when I leave the house because I still don’t trust that our dog, Haley won’t actually eat my homework, I took note of the time on the clock.
No, I did not get up quite that early. Apparently the batteries in the wall clock died and it is perpetually just past five o’clock in the playroom/guestroom/room where I stash all my school stuff behind closed doors when I leave the house because I still don’t trust that our dog, Haley won’t actually eat my homework.
I chuckled and decided not to change the batteries. At least for a while. It might be handy to have a room in our house where it is always five o’clock.
That’s perfect! I think I’m going to go do that to one of our clocks just in case I need it to be 5:00 somewhere too!
I rather like the idea of knowing that somewhere under my roof, it is five o’clock. 😉
Only thing that would have been better would be 4:20
To each their own. And in fact, here in Washington I guess it is always 4:20.
I love this idea! One of my favorite times in the day is 5 O’clock (pm of course) You are a brilliant woman–but you know that because you are brilliant. 🙂
Sometimes my brilliant ideas shock even myself! 🙂
It’s usually about 5’oClock here on my coast when it’s midday there…so go ahead and leave the clock just like that. It really IS 5’oClock somewhere. And of course you’re welcome here anytime of day, no matter what your clock says there.
You are so very true about it being 5 o’clock somewhere and I do so get a kick out of my own personal 5 o’clock clock.
I love the rationale for leaving (considering leaving?) the clock at this point!
Oh, it is still very much just past five in the first room to the left as you walk down our hall. I never need to use that clock for actually time telling, so why not leave it as it is? 🙂
