There were classroom parties, costume parades, and trick or treating. The weather report spoke of constant rain. We dodged the rain clouds, stayed dry, and collected way more candy than we needed.
We were sad that Husband was not able to join us as he was attending the Microsoft Build conference all last week. Between Skype and texting him pictures, he was kept up to date on all our goings on.
Husband was not here when the Switch Witch came. Lucky for him the Switch Witch was nice and saved him a piece or two from the vast quantity of sweets left out for her.

We had some sugar overload here too. I am now on a diet until infinity.
I am actually trying to force feed the kids the rest of their Halloween candy so it does not get drug out forever like last year. It is better to put up with a few days of over crazed sugar beasts than many, many days of whining about candy and when they can have another piece.
Great pictures! Looks like you all had fun.
Thanks. I was expecting to be wet and cold (and grumpy) from being rained on during trick or treating so I was pretty glad that it went so well.
Love the pictures! We had a cold and rainy Halloween, too. But the good thing is that it all ends in candy! 🙂
You are right – alls well that ends in candy!
Our Halloween was cold, but thankfully no rain. What did the Switch Witch leave in place of all the yummy candy?
I can handle the cold but being cold and rained on is a little much for me. I was literally buckling Cody into his car seat after we were done trick or treating and it started to pour – talk about perfect timing!
The Switch Witch left each boy a container of glow stick bracelets and an LED flashing ring. 🙂
such fun outfits! and I love those junior mints 😀
Thank you! The very first thing I ate, oops I mean the Switch Witch ate, were those yummy junior mints. How lucky am I that my boys don’t like mint?!? 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
Oh that Tiger mask turned out beautifully!!! Sharon
Thank you, I was pretty impressed with it myself, being one that shies away from anything arts and craftish. The elastic string around the back kept slipping so I simply stapled the mask to his gray and white striped stocking cap and it worked beautifully (especially since it was a bit chilly and a stocking cap was good to have anyway.)
