Cody is worried that Santa eats too much fudge.
cody: Momma, why is Santa so fat? Why does he eat so much fudge? It is not very good for his teeth.
me: Well, Santa enjoys his cookies and fudge. You are right though, it is not a very healthy diet but I am sure Santa is very good at brushing his teeth.
After a brief discussion this morning of when Santa will be arriving at our house, the topic of what snack to leave out for the man in red came up. Carter voted for the traditional with a twist; cookies and milk, and a gift (a toy). Cody thought that an apple and some water would suffice.
We finally compromised and on Christmas eve we will be leaving out cookies and an apple wrapped in pretty paper and topped with a bow. An agreement could not be made with regards to the liquid refreshment so if you are down-list from us could you please leave out an extra glass of milk for the jolly chap?
We can leave out some milk! But don’t forget the carrots.
Sounds good Jodi, thanks! 😉
Hopefully, Santa will be appreciative of the healthy snack.
Well, if he doesn’t I am sure his reindeer will.
What a cute post! I love how your son is so concerned about Santa! You are obviously teaching your son very healthy eating habits:)
Thank you, we do try to teach healthy eating habits. Now is seems like Cody wants to teach those habits to Santa. 🙂
