Carter discovers The Chocolate Chip Pancake…
After he had eaten it I had to remind him that it is not polite to lick ones plate. I guess he liked it.

Did he get to the beautiful fruit on the side? What a great discovery, chocolate chip pancakes! One of my favorites…
He did – all but the honeydew melon which he is not a great fan of. I have to be totally honest and admit that I have never had a chocolate chip pancake. Perhaps I should try one…
It is one of life’s guilty pleasures. With syrup and everything 😉 Be prepared for the sugar crash, though…
Syrup too?!? Wow – I told Carter people only put butter on such a pancake. I guess I stand corrected.
My derelict children sometimes go as far as to request powdered sugar sprinkled on top of the syrup, too, as they’ve seen in some restaurants. I offer them steamed broccoli florets to sprinkle on top instead, but that doesn’t go over too well….
LOL, no I imagine the broccoli would not go over well. 🙂
Yum! It’s a dessert and breakfast all in one. 😀 Have you been to Eggstacy? We went there for breakfast during our recent Arizona trip and loved it!
No we have not been there but I will add it to the list of places to try. We have really enjoyed eating out at all the various places around us and the kids are even getting more adventurous with their eating too!
The joys of discovering chocolate chips can go in pancakes.. My girls even manage to sprinkle them on French toast, saying it is the same thing. I relent, as long as they eat a bit of fruit with it too. Anytime chocolate can be included in breakfast is a good time!
I have never had one but after seeing the way Carter swooned over them, I think I need to try it for myself. He was pretty good about eating his fruit so I can’t complain too much about the dessertlike meal. 😉
