Welcome to Fur Friday where I post a random picture (or more) of some of our pets and maybe write a thing or two about it.
Today Cody called us out into the backyard to witness the end results of a random science experiment. It involved soaking eggs in vinegar to see what would happen. Then he decided to drop them onto the concrete basketball pad in our yard as a grand finale.
The dogs enjoyed the show.

In case you were wondering, the eggs broke. It was nasty; the boys thought it was great. The nasty egg sludge was washed into the grass where I am sure Sasha will find it in a day or two and enjoy a lengthy roll around in it before coming into the house to sleep on my side of the bed.

I do hope the rolling then sleeping on your side of the bed doesn’t happen!!
So far so good! I have, however seen Haley out there sniffing around by where the egg was washed into the grass, contemplating snacking on it. Ugh!
Blech!
How bizarre. I’ve never thought about soaking an egg in vinegar, and now thanks to you I don’t have to.
Cute pups!
Glad I could take that item off your to-do list. 🙂
so interesting! you had the cutest public there!
Cody is always coming up with strange activities loosely tied to science. Never a dull moment over here, I tell you.
ahaha lucky you! 🙂
Phew! You are quite the brave lady and supportive mom by encouraging these interesting experiments. 🙂 You definitely met your calling by becoming a teacher.
I may have to rethink allowing experiments that end with rotten, vinegar soaked eggs in our backyard, but yeah, I’m pretty alright with most science experiments.
Indeed I did – I do love teaching!
