At first it was simply the beginning of fall. The grocery stores started carrying those little decorative pumpkins in their produce sections. Carter begged for one. It looked nice on our entryway table.
Then I needed a couple spiders for a Halloween costume. The cost per spider went way down when bought in bulk, so I did. The extra spiders went well with the pumpkin.
Then someone, I am not sure who although I have my suspicions, added the cow. I cannot decide what freaks me out more; the thought of a spider sized cow or cow sized spiders.
they say it is all in the perspective – if so, in this perspective, you better run for your life
Hahaha – I fear you may be right!
Too funny!!!
The cow just cracks me up.
scarryy
Yes, yes it is.
LoL
That’s awesome! I’ve often thought to myself that all of Martha Stewart’s Halloween tablescapes are missing something…now I know what was missing – a small plastic cow! ;o)
I will have my people talk to Martha’s people and see what can be done to rectify the situation. Don’t be surprised if small plastic cow decorum becomes all the rave next Halloween season (and don’t forget you saw it here first.) 🙂
Cool – enjoy the season.
We have been having a good time creating our Halloween costumes. I do not enjoy being scared by random fake spiders that surprise me while I am wandering around the house. I prefer they stay on the entryway table with the cow.
You keep you cow there too? I feel a real bond.
This is cute!
Cute, but also rather creepy when you factor the cow into things.
You made me lol with this one, and that’s very hard to do. Love it, Shoes. PS I may or may not have purchased six of those tiny gourds.
Glad I could give you a laugh. The tiny gourds are wicked cute; I see nothing wrong with buying a half dozen or two. The real question is, how many small plastic cows do you have to go with them? 😉
LOL A cow sized spider would scare the you-know-what out of me!
Yes, me too but if I woke up to a real life wriggling spider sized cow hanging above my head, that would freak me out pretty badly as well.
And imagine how long it would take to get a proper sized glass of milk from cows that size…
Yikes, I am scared of spiders! I’ll take the cow. 😛
Yeah, I am not a big spider fan either and keep freaking myself out when I see one of the fake plastic spiders in our carpet. Spider sized cows could easily be vacuumed up and thrown away. 🙂
LOL. Seeing that pile of spiders is kind of creeping me out. Ick!
You and me both. Lucky for you, you don’t have to look at it everyday like I do!
Creepy! I hate spiders! I won’t even let my kids use plastic/rubber ones to decorate for Halloween! Your post totally scared me when I scrolled down! 😉
Haha! Sorry to scare you. 😉
