The last three years we have gone to the same pumpkin patch and have forced asked the kids to stand by the How Tall This Fall? sign so we could take their picture. Cody is on the left and Carter is on the right.
In 2008 and 2009 we went to different pumpkin patches but still managed to take some festive photos of the boys. In these pictures Carter is on the left and Cody is on the right.
And then there was 2007. Here, of course, Cody is on the left and Carter is on the right.

What a cute growth record. I had started to take a back to school pic of the kids each year in front of a smaller spruce tree to measure growth – forgetting that the tree grows each year too. Doh.

Thanks! I wish I would have put a pumpkin next to the pregnancy test all those years ago so it could have been Carter’s first official Halloween. They are evil marketing geniuses, for now how can we go any where but their pumpkin patch?

So cute. My husband takes a photo of our son each year on his birthday and each year we look back at the previous pictures and marvel at how much he has changed from that first little baby photo.
That is great! It is so much fun to look back and compare photos from previous years to see how much the kids have grown.
