I would like to believe the saying that you are only as old as you think you are but then I take a look at the shot glass on my dining room table and realize that, no, I am just old.
No longer do we use our shot glasses to drink liquids that burn holes in our stomach lining and make us light and happy. Nope. Now our shot glasses are used to make little carrot stick bouquets. The boys insist that the carrots taste better served this way (and secretly I agree.)
At least I can still say truthfully that our shot glasses get a lot of use.

HAHAHAHA!!!! I had some BEAUTIFUL shot glasses from my YOUNGER TEQUILA DAYS!!! I now serve single serve deserts out of them!!! HA HA HA LAME!!!

hahaha…in my house, the only one that uses martini glasses in our house is my 6 year-old daughter, who, like your boys, thinks milk tastes better in a martini glass.
The only shot glasses left are the ones my husband buys in each city we visit, and those are on display on a book shelf….sigh…
How creative, I would have never thought to use my shot glasses in that fashion. BTW, I’m not too old for shots, although I need to keep the count to one, but at my age I prefer it strait from the bottle….pirate style. 🙂 ARGGGGGHHHHH
hahaha that is a very neat idea though on how to use the shot glasses! We have a mixology cup that the kiddos use as a regular drinking cup which is fine until I catch them reading it and learning how to mix up a cran and vodka….
