After a morning of stockings and breakfast, we decided to continue with our relatively new tradition of a Christmas morning desert hike.
We packed up the dogs and headed out to the desert.
I must have been very good this year because Santa brought me a new iPhone 7. All my previous phones have been Microsoft or Android, so I was a bit nervous to make the switch but excited as well. It was fun experimenting with the camera.
Although truth be told, new phone or not, I would have been found taking pictures as we walked.
The weather was cool (for Arizona) and the clouds somewhat gray and menacing but we did not get rained upon.
Our Christmas was one of family, good food, memory making, and gifts (of course if you asked Carter, he would have put gifts at the top of his list).
And one last photo just because I can.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Awesome Christmas tradition! Beautiful photos with the new phone, too. Merry Christmas!
PS – We have Bad Santa at our house too every year – at least a few things wind up under the tree naked and unwrapped!
Thanks! I must have inherited my love of photography from my mom. I remember her slowing down and taking pictures of what I thought of at the time as random nature things (at one point she had a photo album or two all of lichens!) Now I am doing the exact same thing!
Yeah, our Santa gets tired of wrapping – especially the big misshapen items. ;-0
I just replaced my Android with an iPhone 6. I love it, love it, love it, and miss my Android not one bit!
I am loving it as well! I also got a Fitbit this year so my little brain, which is not very techy, is spinning with all this new technology. But I am finding myself really liking it.
